Sizing Your Jewelry
Sizing Your Bracelet
Make a statement with your bracelets! From bold pieces to stacking bangles, feel free to mix and match combos, after all, it's your wrist and there are no rules. Bracelets are sized to a wrist size of 6-1/4". I then add 3/4" to 1" to the length for fit. Please let me know if different sizing is required.
Measuring Your Wrist for an Accurate Bracelet Size
To find your perfect bracelet size, follow these steps:
STEP 1: Measure your wrist with a flexible tape measurements or a strip of paper just below the wrist bone, where you would normally wear the bracelet.
STEP 2: If you are using a plain strip of paper, mark your size with a pen or pencil then use a ruler to measure the length. That would be your wrist size.
STEP 3: To find your bracelet size, just add your wrist size with the appropriate measurements below.
Fitting Style … Add Inch(es) to Wrist Size
Snug Fit - Add 1/4" to 1/2"
Comfort Fit - Add 3/4" to 1"
Loose Fit - Add 1 1/4"
Do you want a snug or loose fit? Well, that really will vary between each individual. If you are buying a delicate bracelet with a thin chain, we suggest doing a snug fit. Most other bracelets should have a comfort fit except when buying large or thick cuffs or bangles. It's best to buy large bracelets with a loose fit so you don’t feel like you are suffocating your wrist.
How to Determine Your Necklace Size
The optimal necklace size depends on your personal style as well as your preferred style, or on the look you would like to wear. You can wear your necklaces long, tight on your neck or several necklaces layered over another. You get to choose!
The position of the necklace is determined by your personal measurements. That means that the position on your body will vary according to your height, weight or neck width. For example - a 32" necklace on a tall persona will end just under her breast, while a shorter person with the same necklace will end almost at her navel. Same is true for a person with a bit more weight. A necklace of 14" might be too tight on her neck or it will just not right. For slimmer builds, it may be the perfect fit.
Option 1 - Measure Your Current Necklaces
Step 1 - select a necklace that properly fits at the desired position
Step 2 - measure its length with a ruler or measuring tape
Step 3 - if the necklace falls between two sizes, always consider the larger size or contact us for custom sizing
Option 2 - Use a Ribbon
Step 1 - take a non-elastic or non-stretchy ribbon and lay it around your neck at the preferred length until the ends match.
Step 2 - measure the length of the ribbon or string with a ruler or measuring tape
Step 3 - if the necklace falls between two sizes, always consider the larger size or contact us for custom sizing
Tip - always measure twice for accuracy as measurements need to be exact.
